Who we are
Andre Issa is the founding lawyer of Vanguard Law, a boutique firm that champions employees in wrongful dismissal and workplace-rights disputes and supports fair-minded employers who want to get it right. Vanguard means the group that goes first, taking the initial risk and protecting those who follow. That idea shapes Andre’s advocacy: stepping in when clients feel vulnerable, confronting imbalance head-on, and making sure no one faces it alone.
Before launching Vanguard Law, Andre led the wrongful-dismissal department at a full-service firm, managing complex, high-stakes files. He earned a First-Class Honours from the University of Liverpool, where his gig-economy research was shortlisted for the Liverpool Law Review, and he was a finalist in multiple debate competitions.
Andre pairs civility with resolve. He pushes for efficient, collaborative resolutions, but shifts decisively to litigation when needed. Clients value his clear explanations and meticulous preparation - whether he’s reviewing severance packages, drafting demand letters, negotiating exits, or advancing claims in court.
Vanguard Law also offers estate planning and incorporations for clients. Outside the office, you’ll find Andre in the gym, dissecting political debates, belting indie-band vocals, or cheering for Argentina’s national soccer team. He also demystifies employment law on TikTok and YouTube, delivering punchy, jargon-free videos that empower people to understand their rights.
