Who we are

Andre Issa is the founding lawyer of Vanguard Law, a boutique practice built to champion employees in wrongful-dismissal and workplace-rights disputes and trusted by fair-minded employers who want to get it right. Fueled by an unwavering drive to speak truth to power, Andre stands up for everyday workers and levels the playing field.

Before launching Vanguard Law, Andre led the wrongful-dismissal department at a full-service firm, where he sharpened his approachable style while managing complex cases. He earned First-Class Honours from the University of Liverpool. His research on the gig economy was shortlisted for the Liverpool Law Review. A natural advocate, Andre reached the finals in multiple moot-court competitions, showcasing his knack for persuasive argument.

At Vanguard Law, Andre balances civility with resolve, seeking collaborative settlements first, but pivoting to assertive litigation the moment the other side digs in. Clients value his clear explanations and tireless preparation, whether he’s reviewing severance, drafting demand letters, negotiating exits, or filing claims in court.

To support clients beyond the workplace, Vanguard Law also provides estate planning - wills and powers of attorney - and incorporations for founders and professionals.

Away from the office, you’ll find Andre in the gym, dissecting political debates, belting indie-band vocals, or cheering for Argentina’s national soccer team. He also demystifies employment law on TikTok and YouTube, delivering punchy, jargon-free videos that empower people to understand their rights.

Andre founded Vanguard Law with a simple mission: protect those who need it most and make every client feel heard, informed, and fiercely represented.
